Medizinischer Kurwanderwege
Physical training for heart and circulation
Medizinischer Kurwanderweg are therapeutically measured trails and are used for the dosed physical training of the heart and circulation. The individual trails have different characteristics in terms of length, gradient, location and altitude profile. This enables an individualised, controlled and gradual increase in performance.

Hike the surrounding nature from Bad Neuenahr Spa gardens
The Medizinischer Kurwanderweg (MK trails) all start in Bad Neuenahr Spa gardens. From there, various routes take you into the beautiful natural surroundings of the district town of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler.
The yellow MK trail no. 1 is an easy five-kilometre tour through six parks in Bad Neuenahr.
The three blue, moderately difficult routes between 8 and 11 kilometres in length offer moderate inclines and lead, for example, to the Lourdes Hut in Bachem, the Maibachtal valley in Ahrweiler and the Steckenberg Tower in Bad Neuenahr.
The red MK trails really get your circulation going when you head up to the Neuenahrer Berg or the Landskone.
