Ahr wine & culinary delights

Taste and enjoy the Ahr Valley

Ahr wine is the soul of the Ahr Valley! Not only can you taste its outstanding quality, but also our love and passion for winegrowing. Ahr wines are among the top wines in Germany every year and cause a sensation in the wine world with their velvety, fruity flavour characterised by slate soils. Pinot Noir is king in Germany's largest contiguous red wine-growing region, where every grape is still harvested by hand.

In addition to excellent wines, the high-quality regional cuisine will spoil your palate. The motto of the Ahr winegrowers "From passion to class" can easily be applied to the entire Ahr Valley. Here, passion and a love of regionality are writ large, from Michelin-starred cuisine and excellent hosts to cosy wine taverns and cafés. We cordially invite you to taste and enjoy the Ahr Valley.

The Ahr Valley - home of the Ahr wine

Vineyards that stretch towards the sun, warm slate soils and an almost Mediterranean climate make the Ahr valley a paradise for winegrowing. The king of grape varieties here is Pinot Noir!
