Ahrweiler Weinwochen
One of the largest and most traditional wine festivals in the Ahr Valley
The four mighty town gates in medieval Ahrweiler welcome visitors to one of the most traditional and largest wine festivals in the Ahr Valley on the first and second weekends of September. Within the historic town walls, the Ahrweiler Weinwochen from 5 to 7 September and 12 to 14 September 2025 invite you to spend happy and convivial hours with a good drop of Ahr wine. Against the backdrop of the large parish church, the cosy Ahrweiler marketplace will become a meeting place for wine lovers of all generations.
The Ahrweiler Weinwochen are not complete without a tasty treat for the palate. Stalls with all kinds of savoury and sweet dishes await guests on the market square. But there are also restaurants, cafés and ice cream parlours in the streets and alleyways.
Our added value system for wine glasses applies to this event!

Big wine festival parade
On Sunday, 7 September 2025 (1st festival weekend), the traditional winegrowers' festival parade winds its way through the festively decorated streets of the historic old town of Ahrweiler.
The parade starts at 3 pm with the entry through the mighty Ahr Gate.
The sketch shows this year's procession route.
Please note: On the Sunday of the Winzerfest parade, a traditional toll of five euros will be charged at the Ahrweiler town gates from 10 am. As every year, the shooting societies will welcome you in their uniforms. As a thank-you for paying the toll, guests will receive the value coin from our value-added system, which can be exchanged for an Ahr Valley wine glass at the market square and Blankartshof. The income from the toll covers a substantial part of the festival costs and thus makes the Ahrweiler Winzerfest and its Winzerfest parade possible at all. We would therefore like to thank all supporters and wish them a successful parade!

On the 1st weekend of the festival, the associations from Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler welcome you to the wine stands and serve the wines of the winegrowers from the city area:
- JGV Addemechshöde Jonge
- Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler Music Association
- Ahrweiler Carnival Society
- JGV Niddehöde Jonge
- Ahrweiler Ball Game Club
- JGV Ahrhöde Jonge

On the 2nd weekend of the festival, the winegrowers from Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler will welcome you personally at the stands and present their wines to you:
- Peter Kriechel Winery
- Ahrweiler Winegrowers' Association
- Dagernova Weinmanufaktur
- Peter Lingen Winery
- Brogsitter Wineries
