Varied, challenging and with great views - along the way in the hiking paradise of the Sahrbach Valley, there is plenty on offer for summiteers

The Kreuzberg Castle points the way into the Sahrbach Valley. This small tributary valley of the Ahr valley is considered a hidden gem for hikers and nature explorers. Besides the beautiful landscape, the valley holds historical and cultural treasures which are pointed out along the way. At the activity point in the "Alte Krähe" in Krälingen, at the foot of Hasenberg (472 m), summit climbers can experience a bit of home before returning to the starting point.

By the way: right on the Sahrbachweg, the Alte Stollen and the Gretelstollen offer fascinating insights into the history of mining.

Especially the brave can explore the accessible Alte Stollen (bring a flashlight).

Die Burg Kreuzberg weist den Weg in das Sahrbachtal. Das kleine Seitental des Ahrtals gilt als ein Geheimtipp für Wanderer und Naturentdecker. Neben der herrlichen Landschaft birgt das Tal historische und kulturelle Schätze auf die am Wegesrand hingewiesen wird. Am Aktionspunkt in der „Alten Krähe“ in Krälingen, am Fuße vom Hasenberg (472 m), können die Gipfelstürmer ein Stück Heimat erleben, bevor es zurück zum Ausgangspunkt geht.

Übrigens: Direkt am Sahrbachweg bieten der Alte Stollen und der Gretelstollen spannende Einblicke in die Geschichte des Bergbaus.
