Along the "Barbarossa Loop" hikers can convince themselves of the attractiveness of the landscape around the Barbarossa town of Sinzig and its districts on two circular routes.

Entlang der „Barbarossa-Schleife“ können sich Wanderer auf zwei Rundwegen von der Attraktivität der Landschaft um die Barbarossastadt Sinzig und seiner Stadtteile überzeugen.

Along the "Barbarossa Loop" hikers can convince themselves of the attractiveness of the landscape around the Barbarossa town of Sinzig and its districts on two circular routes. The blue loop offers a route with an attractive mix of village centres, wide panoramic views, cool forest but also open fields over a varied profile for a length of 18 km. After the path leads out of Sinzig along the Ahr, it first goes along idyllic half-timbered houses in the district of Bad Bodendorf to the nostalgic Bad Bodendorf thermal outdoor pool (currently closed!). Continuing over the Mühlenberg with extensive distant views along the panorama trail, you reach the rose village Löhndorf. Across open fields, past equestrian farms, the path leads to the highest point of Sinzig before going via the Kreuzweg to Westum. The Barbarossa Loop then leads back to the town centre of Sinzig via the newly created multi-generation square. Ambitious hikers can also connect both routes to form one loop.

Die blaue Schleife bietet auf einem abwechslungsreichen Profil, über eine Länge von 18 km eine Routenführung mit  attraktiven Ortskernen, weiten Fernsichten, kühlem Wald aber auch freiem Feld. Nachdem der Weg aus Sinzig entlang der Ahr herausführt, geht es im Ortsteil Bad Bodendorf zunächst entlang idyllischer Fachwerkhäuser zum nostalgischen Thermalfreibad Bad Bodendorf (derzeit geschlossen!). Weiter über den Mühlenberg mit ausgiebiger Fernsicht entlang des Panoramawegs gelangt man in das Rosendorf Löhndorf. Über freies Feld, vorbei an Reiterhöfen führt der Weg zum höchsten Punkt von Sinzig, bevor es über den Kreuzweg nach Westum geht. Über den neu angelegten Mehrgenerationenplatz führt die Barbarossa-Schleife dann zurück in die Sinziger Innenstadt. Ambitionierte Wanderer können beide Routen auch zu einer Schleife verbinden.
