The family-friendly hiking trail leads from the hiking car park at the Red Wine Trail along the historic "Schwallhüll" sunken path into the village of Lantershofen, through old lanes past beautiful corners and half-timbered houses to the pear orchard. The route touches the village of Ringen and finally returns to the red wine hiking trail route. More than 30 pear varieties can be examined on the tour between Ringen and Lantershofen. Particularly eye-catching are the artistically carved wooden resting places, which invite you to picnic, watch TV and relax during the entire loop. From the viewing platform "Flying Roof" you can enjoy a great view over the fields and vineyards all the way to Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler.
