Mayschoß

Viticulture on the sunny side

Mayschoß is nestled in the vineyards at the foot of the Saffenburg castle ruins. The oldest winegrowers' co-operative in the world is a particular attraction. The neighbouring Rotweinwanderweg offers a fascinating view of the small village, which is one of the most famous wine villages in the Ahr Valley.

Favourite place: the Saffenburg
From the ruins of Saffenburg Castle, you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views in the Ahr valley. The hut below the castle grounds is open at weekends and on all public holidays in May, September and October.
