For many generations, our family winery Max Schell has been cultivating vineyards in the best locations of the Ahr Valley, such as Ahrweiler Rosenthal, Silberberg, Neuenahrer Sonnenberg or Mayschoßer Mönchberg.
With great respect, love for nature and a lot of passion for winemaking, we produce Ahr Burgundies of the highest quality full of character.<nbsp; The basis for this is already a yield reduction during pruning, grape dividing and green harvesting. By carefully processing the grapes and maturing them in large wooden barrels or barriques, our Burgundy wines reach their perfection.<br>This philosophy is supported today above all by our young team as the next generation and is constantly being developed further in order to continue producing wines full of character with an unmistakable signature in the future
