Roemervilla Museum
A journey through time to the Romans in the Ahr valley
The remains of a Roman estate from the 1st to 5th century were discovered in Ahrweiler in 1980, rather by chance. A sensational find that is unrivalled north of the Alps! In addition to excellently preserved walls, the museum presents a bathing facility, a kitchen and completely preserved underfloor heating systems.
