Our high end apartments are best characterized as open, modern and inviting. They are spacious and furnished in a trendy, as well as elegant fashion with love to detail. You will be staying in a quiet area of the city within the historic medieval wall. Comfortable box-spring beds, well designed bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc. will be waiting for you. We provide modern entertainment technology with satellite TV (Smart TV, 4K), DVD, CD, Radio and highspeed internet free of charge. 8 apartments come with a parking garage or a parking lot in front of the building.

Offering you a vacation of a different kind – combining a historic ambience with a modern, trendy style of living. This was the idea which we have pursued for many years. With the opening of our apartments „Am Steinfelder Hof“ a dream came true for us in late 2012 after years of planning and putting in a lot of effort and even more love for detail.

The name „Am Steinfelder Hof“ originates from the „Steinfelder Hof“. This used to be a historic monastery, which was located just a few feets away, inside the medieval city wall. It used to be property of the abbey „Steinfeld“ in Ahrweiler and was a substantial part of a 650 year historic connection between the abbey and the city of Ahrweiler. During the construction period we discovered parts of medieval fountains which back in time served as the local water supply.

To even more leverage Ahrweiler’s history, we named our apartments after history loaded yards (Hof) and manors in the city center. You can find historic maps and backgrounds to all the different yards on the tab listing all our apartments.

At this point, we would like to thank Hans-Georg Klein, who contributed all the historic facts, tales and bits and pieces around the historic backgrounds of the „Steinfelder Hof“.
