Wine festival season in the Ahr valley
In late summer and autumn, our wine villages in the Ahr Valley invite you to their popular wine festivals. Every weekend until the end of October, you can expect convivial and cosy, grandiose and enjoyable wine festivals around the grape harvest season along the Ahr. Ahr wine of the year - the gala night of top wines
On 7 November, the best Ahr wines of 2025 will be chosen at a glittering gala in the Steigenberger Kurhaus Bad Neuenahr - accompanied by an exclusive 4-course menu, a live musical show by musical star Deborah Sasson, hosted by Stefan Mross and a rousing after-show party.

Welcome to hiking autumn!
The most beautiful hiking season in the Ahr Valley begins when the landscape is clad in its bright colours in autumn, the air becomes clearer and fresher and the wine villages along the Ahr entice visitors with their convivial wine festivals. But it's not just the paths through the vineyards that offer pure hiking pleasure. The colourful forests, magnificent views and green meadows also make hiking along the AhrSteig, on the Eifel heights and along the Upper Ahr an experience.
