20 years Tour de Ahrtal from Blankenheim to Ahrbrück
The popular Tour de Ahrtal cycling event picks up speed again on Sunday, 15 June. This year, cyclists can once again enjoy the highlight of the closed roads from Blankenheim to Ahrbrück.
From Blankenheim, the B258 to Müsch and then the L73 to Dümpelfeld will be closed. You can then switch to the Ahr cycle path, which is passable as far as Ahrbrück. The action point in Ahrbrück marks the end of the route this year. The ADFC Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler is on site with a stand and offers bicycle coding as theft protection. Important: If you would like to have your bike coded, you must bring the purchase invoice for the bike and your identity card with you.
From Ahrdorf, cyclists can also explore the Kalkeifel cycle path in the direction of Hillesheim, where an action point awaits visitors at the Ahütte museum railway station.
14 action points along the route between Blankenheim, Hillesheim, Müsch and Ahrbrück invite you to take a break between 10 am and 5 pm, offer refreshments, entertainment, hands-on activities and breakdown service.
In addition, start cards for the Tour de Ahrtal competition are available at all stations. Those who diligently collect stamps along the way have the chance to win attractive prizes. Simply take the start card with you, have it stamped at the stations and hand it in at the end - and with a bit of luck win.
