The EVA tower stands around 9 metres high on the Giesemertalskopf in the Ahrweiler Stadtwald forest, with four corner posts made from over 100-year-old Douglas fir trees from the Ahrweiler Stadtwald forest. A total of 22 cubic metres of local wood was used, reinforced by steel cross struts. The EVA tower can be reached via hiking trails such as the "Kleine Walporzheimer Runde" or short detours from the red wine hiking trail and pear circular hiking trail.
