In 1306, a church or chapel was built for the first time in honour of

in honour of St. Nicholas in Aremberg was first mentioned. A beautiful gem awaits church visitors

The current church probably dates back to 1783 and houses valuable furnishings from the dissolved Marienthal monastery - including an organ from 1750, baroque altars, a pulpit, a confessional and a baptismal font from the 18th century.
