Johanniter-Komturei
Together with the parish church of St. John the Baptist, the town hall in the former courthouse building, and the historic marketplace, the still-preserved buildings of the Kommende form the architectural core of the town of Adenau. In 1657, the complex consisted of three residential buildings, a solid structure, and two buildings with half-timbered upper floors, which were grouped around a courtyard and surrounded by a wall.
