Wine house at the landmark "Bunte Kuh"

The Weinhaus zur Bunten Kuh is located where the Ahr valley narrows into a gorge and impressive rock formations rise up - nestled in a romantic landscape surrounded by vineyards, forests and mountains. The name is derived from a striking rock nearby known as the "Bunte Kuh" (Colourful Cow). There are many legends and fairy tales surrounding this part of the Ahr river.

The spacious garden terrace offers a unique view over the valley and the surrounding mountain ranges - an experience at any time of day. The wine, coffee and food restaurant serves regional specialities, complemented by seasonal highlights such as asparagus and chanterelle dishes.

Customised menus and buffets can be arranged for celebrations, coach groups or events. There are 70 seats available indoors and a further 60 on the raised summer terrace.
