The Klosterhof Gilles in Marienthal

is home to the winery of the same name as well as cosy, rustic wine taverns and

well-kept guest rooms. The Klosterhof winery cultivates 3.5 hectares of vineyards

and is a purely family-run business that is now in its third generation of

producing its own wines. Our ancestors already laboured in the

slate slopes of the central Ahr valley to produce the world-famous red wines;
