Family winery in Dernau

The family business, now in its fifth generation, cultivates first-class steep vineyards in the Ahr valley. Class instead of mass - this principle is at the centre of viticulture. Top quality is achieved through natural cultivation that relies on experience, sensitivity and manual labour. Targeted pruning, careful defoliation of the grape zone and thinning out unripe grapes ensure healthy, concentrated fruit. The harvest is carried out selectively in several passes - each grape is picked and sorted by hand. The result: wines full of character with depth, expression and the utmost care in every step of production.
