The Maibachklamm gorge winds its way from the Ahr through the forest between Walporzheim and the Calvarienberg monastery in Ahrweiler. 13 narrow wooden bridges cross the stream, which is actually called Wingsbach and not Maibach. You will pass through this romantic spot in the Ahr Valley if you are travelling on the 6th stage of the AhrSteig.


Little tip: The gorge is ideal for hot summer days!
