Kurhaus Bad Neuenahr

Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler

Built in 1903, it is now a listed building

The Kurhaus Bad Neuenahr on Felix-Rütten-Straße, directly on the Ahr, was built according to plans by the Cologne architect Oscar Schütz and was completed in 1905. From 1951 to 1958, the Bad Neuenahr Kurhaus was the venue for the Federal Press Balls. It was only when the Beethovenhalle in Bonn was completed that the Federal Press Ball moved to the former capital.

The Kurhaus was massively damaged during the Ahr flood disaster in 2021. The final work on the large Kurhaus hall was only completed in February 2025.

The Kurhaus has around 750 seats.
