Butlery – Picnics & Events in the Ahr Valley

Butlery offers unique experiences in some of the most beautiful spots in the Ahr Valley. With
lovingly arranged picnics and dining experiences in the vineyards, the winter dining event
at Calvarienberg Monastery and the Maibachfarm event venue, we create the
perfect setting for birthdays, hen parties, corporate events,
weddings and time out together.

Picnics in the vineyard

At selected spots in the heart of the Ahrweiler vineyards, you’ll find cosy
picnic lounges with regional wine, snacks, drinks and little
extras. If you’d like to enhance your picnic, you can add various experiences such as
wine tastings, wine walks or creative workshops.

Dining in the vineyard & winter dining

For larger groups, we transform special locations into extraordinary
dining experiences. In summer, you can celebrate at long, lovingly laid tables
right in the heart of the vineyards. In winter, the dining experience moves to Calvarienberg Monastery
and becomes a winter dining experience – ideal for Christmas parties, birthdays,
corporate events and other special occasions.

Maibachfarm event venue

With Maibachfarm, we also run a special event venue in the Ahr Valley.
The barrique cellar, large outdoor terrace and the setting amidst nature provide the
perfect backdrop for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations. From décor
and drinks to catering partners, music and the programme, we support
events on request from the initial idea right through to the day itself.

In doing so, we work closely with partners, winegrowers and service providers from the Ahr Valley and
the wider region – to create events that capture the essence of the Ahr Valley and
are, above all, personal.
