Starting point is the neogothic-built church where the remains of St. Apollinaris are housed. A staircase behind the church leads to an interesting viewing point with a statue of St. Franziskus. The route leads via the Waldschlösschen along forest paths down to Calmuth Castle. Leaving Calmuth valley the path meanders through woods and fields further on to the Ostrich Farm, where you can stop for a light refreshment or meal. Further on through fields and orchards on past the old jewish cemetery and back to the Church of St. Apollinaris.
