The four mighty town gates in medieval Ahrweiler welcome visitors to one of the most traditional and largest wine festivals in the Ahr Valley on the first and second weekends of September. Within the historic town walls, the Ahrweiler Wine Weeks from 5 to 7 September and 12 to 14 September 2025 invite you to spend happy and convivial hours with a good drop of Ahr wine. Against the backdrop of the large parish church, the cosy Ahrweiler market square becomes a meeting place for wine lovers of all generations.

Ahrweiler Wine Weeks are not complete without a tasty treat. Stalls with all kinds of savoury and sweet dishes await guests on the market square. But there are also restaurants, cafés and ice cream parlours in the streets and alleyways.
