A cheerful and colourful scenic run through the vineyards around Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler

Run. Enjoy. Celebrate. - On 13 June 2026, the Ahr Valley will once again be transformed into probably the most beautiful running course in Germany: the 14th Ahrathon will delight runners with routes through vineyards, forests and wineries - including wine tastings at the refreshment stations!

Whether it's a marathon, half marathon, walking or the 10-km fun run - the focus here is not just on time, but on having fun. Many participants start dressed up, cheered on by thousands of spectators along the route. The start and finish are in the heart of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, accompanied by a colourful supporting programme, regional cuisine and live music. As the crowning finale, the open-air party "Rock & Wine" with the band BOOSTER & Ganz & Gar invites you to celebrate in the evening. All information & Registration: www.ahrathon.de

The Ahrathon is a wonderful scenic run
